Hardware Defect Procedure

Repair

If possible, we will perform a repair as arranged. The parts and replacement are covered by our hardware warranty, so you will not be charged.

Replacement

In the event of serious problems or a complete hardware failure, we will provide a server with a configuration as close to the original state as possible within no longer than one business day. Missing hardware upgrades will be reinstalled.

The replacement server will have the same IP address. It will be provided with the basic configuration only. Please note that the server platform may have changed in the meantime. For this reason, we recommend always using the current kernel version to prevent potential incompatibilities.

Backup Recommendation

nine does not have access to your server data and cannot create backups on your behalf. You are fully responsible for your own data. We recommend creating regular backups to ensure data protection and enable quick recovery in case of emergency.

To discuss alternative recovery scenarios, such as restoring from an external storage device, please contact us () in advance. We can advise you on the feasibility and any associated costs.
