Quota System

Since all resources in and around NKE are self-serviceable, there is a quota system in place to safeguard against accidental creation of many costly resources and to help Nine with resource planning.

The quota system applies to all services that can be created in Cockpit and also some resources which can be directly consumed on an NKE cluster, such as load balancers and persistent storage.

Quota limits are shown per location. A global limit is not tied to a specific location — it applies to resources that don't have a location of their own, such as deploy.io applications — and is shared across all of your resources of that type combined, regardless of location. A limit shown for a specific location only applies to resources created in that particular location.

In case you run into an error provisioning a resource because of a quota limitation, please contact us and we will look into increasing the quota for you.
