How do I access the data centre?

What does a data centre access guarantee?​

A dedicated access allows independent access to the data centre at any time (24/7) by means of biometric access control and keys. This means that you can enter the data centre at any time without warning and work on your rack or housing.

NTT / E-Shelter​

In NTT, access control is via a badge, this is released by NTT and must be exchanged at the counter with a valid ID when entering the data centre. This allows a very high level access control.

NTS / Colozueri​

In the NTS, access control is carried out without personnel from the data centre, but this is replaced with an airlock and a finger scanner.

Cost​

Data centre access also includes keys to the rack, which are charged separately from access. For example, you can have one key with two accessible persons.

The costs for a data centre access are:

Of course, it is also possible to apply for a datacenter access by mail at support@nine.ch, but we need the following information for this:

  • First and last name
  • Copies of identity documents in colour front and back
  • Mobile phone number
  • Email address
  • Colour photo of the front, collarbone upwards (Only for NTT access)
